Support and calibration
The INFRA P11 hydrophone has a built in digital signal processor. The signal processor processes all incoming data in real time according to the selected standard. This allows you to keep your data logger working in the field while the sensor is sent for annual recalibration. We recommend that you submit your INFRA P11 for calibration every 12 months (every 24 months for long term monitoring). Sigicom has calibration laboratories in Stockholm (Sweden), London (UK), Caen (France), Colorado (USA), and Ottawa (Canada). Read more about our calibration services under Support.
Applications
Environmental monitoring is a crucial part of our society and is performed within many construction and infrastructure projects. The INFRA P11 Hydrophone monitors high-frequency shockwaves that affect fish farms and other extremely sensitive objects. Water shock waves arise from blasting and already at very low pressures they can damage fish and wildlife in the water. Fish farms are particularly sensitive to the overpressure
Made to work
The INFRA P11 hydrophone offers a rugged design and IP67 protection class and is designed for long service life in harsh conditions. The sensor has a unique ID number that follows the recorded data. This makes it possible to trace data to a certain sensor. The hydrophone has a calibrated sensitivity within +- 10%, and a maximum measuring range of 100 kPa.
Quick and easy set-up
The hydrophone is easily mounted and installed on your worksite in just a few minutes. After installation, the INFRA System’s extremely easy-to-use interface allows to instantly and effectively start monitoring pressure. All monitoring is performed digitally and in INFRA Net web application you can easily select standards. In INFRA Net you can adjust settings and view all of your sensors and monitors in your projects.
Work remotely
Manage your project remotely via your computer or mobile device via INFRA Net, our internet-based system for project administration. In INFRA, you will find a rugged and reliable remote monitoring system, helping users reduce travel costs and increase efficiency. Project alerts can be received by key project personnel at designated measurement thresholds. Data can be analyzed, and reports generated as required for any project.
Standards
Investing in Sigicom’s remote monitoring equipment is a wise and future-proof investment. INFRA sensors are preloaded with many measurement standards, providing compliance for use on projects all over the world. Download the INFRA P11 datasheet for more information.
