Triaxial Accelerometer

INFRA A12 triaxial accelerometer can be used for measurements on sensitive equipment. It is much smaller and lighter than a geophone and almost insensitive to magnetic interference. Adjustments between a wide range of standards can easily be set from a connected INFRA data logger.

  • Triaxial accelerometer that measures acceleration in three directions
  • Two different versions for indoor and outdoor use
  • Manage settings remotely from your computer and mobile device

Customer Case

Tunnelling beneath historic buildings

During the construction of the city railway in Stockholm, blasting was carried out for the railway tunnel just under the Gustav Vasa church. The church is one of the city’s largest churches, with 1200 seats and a 60-meter high tower. When the construction of the city railway was in progress, the INFRA system was used to measure vibration, noise, and air shock waves.

Support and Calibration

The INFRA A12 sensor measures acceleration in three directions and contains a built-in digital signal processor. This allows you to keep your data logger working in the field while the sensor is sent for annual recalibration. Sigicom has calibration laboratories in all of our offices around the world: Stockholm (Sweden), London (UK), Caen (France), Colorado (USA), and Ottawa (CA). Read more about our calibration services under Support.

Environmental monitoring is a crucial part of our society and is performed within many construction and infrastructure projects. Making sure that nearby buildings are protected, and residents are comfortable, is a best practice in the industry. The INFRA A12 Triaxial Accelerometer is typically used for measuring acceleration on high sensitive items, such as sensitive technology or historical items in old churches, museums, etc.

Designed to Work

The INFRA A12 triaxial accelerometer offers a rugged design and IP67 protection class for a long service life in harsh conditions. The sensor has a tolerance to high frequencies, long term stability, and a temperature range from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius.

Quick and easy set-up

The sensor can be easily mounted and installed at your worksite in just a few minutes. The intuitive interface of our INFRA System, enables you to begin monitoring instantly and effectively.

Work remotely

Manage your project remotely via your computer or mobile device via INFRA Net, our internet-based system for project administration. In INFRA, you will find a rugged and reliable monitoring system, helping users reduce travel costs and increase efficiency. Project alerts can be received by key project personnel at designated measurement thresholds. Data can be analyzed, and reports generated as required for any project.
