We’re happy to welcome Martin Osterman to Sigicom AB’s Sales team. With an extensive background in environmental monitoring and hands-on experience with noise and vibration measurements, Martin brings both technical expertise and a valuable customer perspective to his new role.
Martin was already familiar with Sigicom, having previously worked with our products as a user. In fact, it was Sigicom who reached out to Martin about the opportunity to join the Sales team. The role offered a natural way for him to combine his technical background and instrument knowledge with sales and customer relationships.
What made you decide to join Sigicom?
I wasn’t actively looking for a new role at the time, but the more we talked about the opportunity, the more interested I became. Knowing Sigicom and the instruments from my previous experience made the decision to join feel like a natural next step.
His previous experience gives Martin a strong understanding of the day-to-day realities our customers face and the role reliable measurement technology plays in their work.
What’s your first impression of working at Sigicom?
What has stood out to me most is how open and welcoming everyone is. Even though Sigicom is a fairly large company, it doesn’t feel very hierarchical – it’s easy to talk to people and get to know your colleagues. And, of course, I’m really excited about the technology and the measurement field.
For Martin, joining Sigicom also means continuing to work within a field he knows well, while getting the opportunity to approach it from a different perspective.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I’m looking forward to experiencing the other side of things, going from using Sigicom’s products to working with them in sales. I already know the instruments and believe in them, which makes this new role especially exciting.
With his combination of technical experience, instrument knowledge, and first-hand understanding of the customer perspective, we’re excited to have Martin as part of the team.
