Calibration service is second nature to Sigicom as a supplier of quality measuring instruments. Therefore, we track the calibration schedule for all sensors that we have delivered and we can give the customer an automated reminder before re-calibration is required. Customers also have the option of sending the instruments to our calibration laboratory in Stockholm for service.
All reference instruments that we use in our lab are in turn calibrated by an accredited laboratory. This means that the all important traceability factor is assured. Calibrations are documented in a database and can easily be called up on demand, for example, if a contractor suffers a mishap during a blast and the measurements are questioned.
The temperature in the lab is a constant 23 +/- 2 degrees so that the calibration equipment is not affected by temperature variations. The calibration routine is computerized and thus follows an exact course without the risk of influencing variations.
We automatically adjust any deficiencies that have emerged through the calibration - or replace the instrument with a new unit. In addition, we update all calibrated Sigicom products with the latest software before we return them.
It is often very important for the customer to get the calibrated instruments back as soon as possible. Therefore it is our principle to work quickly and efficiently. We have a small and flexible organization especially for this part of the job. We don’t want our customers to have to worry about the measurement precision of their sensors. If you choose Sigicom measurement systems, it is only the sensors that need to be calibrated - not the master units (data-loggers).
